What Jesus Said With His Own Mouth When On Earth - Bible Readings

Jesus Christ lived a good life, a life full of examples, a righteous life in other for us to walk according to his foot steps. What you do not know here is that a blessed man is automatically a rich man. 
So, today's Bible reading will be coming from Matthew 5 verse 1-12.


This is what our Lord Jesus said with his mouth while he was still on earth, he saw crowds, and went up on a mountain side and as he sat down and his disciples come to him and he started teaching them saying:

  • Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
  • Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted. 
  • Blessed are the meek for they will inherit the earth.
  • Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be filled.
  • Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy.
  • Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. 
  • Blessed are the peace makers for they shall be called sons of God. 
  • Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 
  • Blessed are you when people insult you, and say all kinds of evil against you because of me, rejoice and be glad for great is your reward in heaven.  

Will you try and meet up to God's expectations of you? 
If you must, then you have to try and meet up with the following standards in other to accumulate God's blessings for it will surely be sufficient for you. 

  1. Be poor in the spirit.
  2. Waite unto the Lord in your most difficult situation.
  3. Humble yourself before God and man. 
  4. Be hungry to know God and thirst for his righteousness. 
  5. Be merciful to people, this includes the poor and the needy ones. 
  6. Stop yourself  from indulging in impure thoughts.
  7. Be a person known for peace.
  8. Even before you do all this things from No. 1 to 7 some will start saying one or two things about you,  do not mind them. 
 Be long suffering for great will be your reward in heaven. 

To know that our God is a powerful God search for great men who challenged God by mocking him,  you will see that they all died a miserable death. 

Now you have known the truth know it then that at the end of time, the last days this words will stand against you on the day of judgement, so,  
PREPARE TO MEET YOUR GOD...
